Madhuri Dixit

MadhuriMadhuri dixit was an Indian actress well-known for her role in the films 'Beta' "Saajan," and "Hum Hain Koun' . Her career began in the early 1980s. She became famous due to her part as a supporting actress in the movie Tezaab. Next, she appeared in the movie "Dil" where she shared the screen with Aamir Khan. Born to a middle-class family in Mumbai She began to learn dance as a child. At the age of a teenager, she tried acting and failed for a few years. She found success, and she went on to become a prominent actor in the Indian film industry. After her wedding she took a few months off from acting before returning to the entertainment industry. Recently, she played prominent in the film "Gulaab Gang" which focused on the struggle and triumphs of women from India. Dixit was nominated for 15 Filmfare Awards. She won eight. Dixit was also awarded the Padma Shri (the fourth highest civilian award in India). Her name is also well-known due to her charitable work.
