Mary McCormack was an American actress, best known for her roles as the protagonist in TV shows like "Murder One", "The West Wing", "In Plain Sight" and Loaded. In addition to her TV role, she's also been recognized for her movie roles like Private Parts, Deep Impact,?True Crime? and?"1408". McCormack is a native of Connecticut, born in a house without any entertainment connection at all in her family tree was the daughter of a clinical therapist and the proprietor of an Ice Cream Shop. McCormack was a student at Wardlaw-Hartridge School and, following the divorce of her parents in 1990, she was accepted to Trinity College in Hartford in Connecticut. She graduated in the BA program in Comparative arts. At the beginning of her professional career, she was only twelve when she was on stage for an opera production entitled "Amahl's Night Visitor". After performing on stage, McCormack landed parts in small-screen as well as large-screen productions. Today, McCormack is recognized as one of the best artistes in Hollywood. McCormack is married to producer and director Michael Morris and has three children.
